What is up with Googe?

Throughout the day I've squinted, I've turned my head sideways, I've refreshed my screen, and I've blinked in rapid succession at google.com to make myself sure that I wasn't really seeing that Google had misspelled their name in the logo in order to make it cutesy for Valentine's Day.

Then I thought that maybe the letter "L" was made of chocolate, and someone had eaten it, and other ridiculous stories of what could have happened to the missing "L" that would make a psychiatrist cringe.

 *thinks through the five stages of grief*

• Denial
• Anger
• Bargaining
• Depression 
• Acceptance
  

Where am I now? Acceptance. I'm over it. It's done. It'll be back to normal and spelled correctly tomorrow and my craving for a large chocolate-dipped strawberry will probably be gone by then as well.

Valentine's Day sure does bring out the strange in people and companies, doesn't it?
